Art and poetry are necessities. Can’t live without ‘em. I need the thrill of exploration and experimentation and have no choice but to follow the impulse wherever it might lead.


I’m attracted to myths--private and public--and mysteries inherent in symbols. In the visual arts this translates into semi-abstract work in acrylics, watercolor, pen and ink, and a variety of printmaking processes.
